im new to hydro but know how to grow just never done hydro. i was wondering if when i feed my plant is raises the ph, when i bring the ph back to where it should be i was wondering if there is still nutrients in the water. i was told that lowering the ph lowers the nutrient level as well. i also was wondering if when feeding if i use as much as i would in dirt or less or more..... any help would be appreciated but my main issue is how much nutrientrs to use for 3 plants in a drip setup with 3 gallons of water

Basically your nutrients are always there regardless of your PH. However, availability to the plants change based upon PH levels. This article might help you understand a bit more about the relation of ph and nutrient availability.

Google: hydroponics ph and nutrient availability, the first link titled pH in Hydroponics should answer some questions.
