Converting a garage, was 22x20x10, put wall up separating furnace and water heater= 4 ftx20 "laundry room", therefore 18x20 (10 ft ceilings) closed space. As it stands, I still have the option to have traditional exhaust or closed with ac and purifiers......
With traditional I could bring cooled air from laundry room (wall ac cooling laundry room), carbon filter >fan> duct through wall into room; exhaust consisting of carbon filter>fan>duct across room exiting out of building. Keep in mind sound is NOT an issue..
I have been considering a more closed system in which ac into the room with purifiers in room, no exhaust.... been reading a lot but not sure which systems would use the least electricity to maintain. Well insulated, pacific weather, like the idea of ac integration to compensate for humidity.... Past experiences welcome, specific ac's appreciated, links to articles, etc. Thanks

How many watts of light will you be using in this 18 x 20' area?
What is the temp of the laundry room?
What is the temp of the growing area?
