Hello, how are you? I'm a new hydro. grower, and I had a couple of questions.

I've been growing for about a month now. I have some small plants in the vegetative stage, with a low ppm (about 600) and a ph of 5.8.

The humidity is about 45%, temperature is about 65f, and I'm flooding the cubes almost half way up (4" cubes).

How dry should they get before I flood them again? I've been flooding them for 20 min, and it takes about 5 min. for it to drain (small tray, about 2' x 5')

Thanks for your help,
andrew

at that cool a temperature. you want to water a little less. ebb and flow has to be adjusted by learning to watch your plants. If too wet, roots will rot.

better to allow rockwool to appear dry around the outside and water. If this causes plants to droop from lack of nutrients then add feeding times not length of time watering.

Most e & f users water 2-4 times a day. depending on temps, humidity, and maturity of plant. I hope this helps a little Peace G1
