Hi There, I have a serious problem with heat build up. I live in Southern California and my ambient temperature on a regular day is already 75 degrees F. When I add my 400W HPS lamp (air cooled) the temp. in my grow enclosure is AT LEAST 79 degrees. This is pushing what is healthy for my plants. Any suggestions? I've already added insulation to my ceiling, upgraded to an inline fan, air cooled my reflector (outtake side), everyting I could think of. Help! It's only going to get hotter.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

79 degrees is probably fine for most fruits and vegetables. You can check the specifics of your crop online. The correct temp range is typically from 70-80 degrees without CO2 and 80-88 (or 90) with CO2. You could always add bottled CO2 and then it would be near-perfect. A generator is another possibility but will add heat.
