    Default Gnats

Since the last post on gnatrol vs nematodes was two years ago, I'd like someone to reaffirm that gnatrol is the way to go in a small, deeply infected hydroponic system...

Here's a few of the new improvements of Gnatrol.

-Increased shelf life - now 2 years! (liquid formulation was only 1 year)

-Much more concentrated; less product packaging to carry around and to dispose of

    -Increased convenience and application accuracy

-Easier to measure and won't leave a residue like the liquid formulation

-Can be used on vegetables, bulb crops, bedding plants and a wide variety of ornamentals

-Fungus gnats stop feeding almost immediately after it is digested, and death occurs 24 to 48 hours later

    -OMRI listed

You might also consider using a product called mosquito dunks. Simply toss 1 in your reservoir and forget about it.
They contain the same bacillus, possibly cheaper definately easier.

Thumbs up Gnatrol kills 'em dead!

I had serious fungus gnat problems in my home because I have a TON of indoor plants. Gnatrol is the only thing that I have found for long term control. Heavy soil drench three weeks in a row, then light application as needed for maintenance. If you have fungus gnats, this product will bring you sweet relief.
