Default Cloning from a plant in flowering

How late can one clone a plant that is in the flowering stage. I have some beauties that have been flowering for over 6 weeks. Is it possible to clone from these. If not can I put the plant back into the vegitative stage then clone later , also should I remove the flower buds before either of these things are done. Thanks!

take a clone from a lower inner branch.....let it root under light 24/7 3-4 weeks... after it has rooted about 2 weeks later branches will start to grow out of the bud

I clone from the flowering/fruiting chile branch with great success. Roots and fruit again in 20-30 days.
